I had my first Art show at the East Carolina Waterfowl Festival in Washington NC! Here is a painting (Loyal Bud) I did for the show and another one that was featured in the 2010 North Carolina Wildlife Calendar (Morning Gathering)
Michigan Duck Stamp Contest
This past weekend I won the “2010 Michigan Duck Stamp” Contest which is organized by Michigan Duck Hunters Association - www.midha.org.
This was my third time entering this competition - placing 3rd two years ago. They had a lot of great paintings by some well known artist so it was exciting to find out I won.
2010 Idaho - Ducks Unlimited Sponsor “Artist of the Year”
My painting ‘Morning Stretch’ featuring a Green-winged Teal has been selected by Idaho Ducks Unlimited for their 2010 Sponsor Print.
A limited edition series will be available next year through the Idaho Ducks Unlimited chapters. These prints are used to support the local Ducks Unlimited and are featured prints at the state banquets.
